Now I'm going to seem like a bit of a geek,which at the best of times I am,but I really want this after my boyfriend showed me the trailer.

Mario

I've been playing a lot of Mario recently since I bought myself a nintendo ds last week and I found this cool diagram showing how Mario has evolved.

Moving Out

There's something quite scary and vulnerable about pushing the bulk of your belongings in a shopping trolley from student accommodation to a futuristic looking storage unit in the early hours of the morning. The first few trips are quite fun but when you can barely keep your eyes open,something inside you just wants to chuck the entire contents in the river on the way and sleep on the curb side until the morning.

I am now officially out of student halls and left the place in a bit of a shit tip. With a week off work and some money to spend,I can't wait to spend the week off relaxing with my sexy boyfriend.

Now we just have to work out how to get all the stuff out again and into our new house when we get back. Eurgh.

Today I..

So I work at Baskin Robbins and we've just started making our own icecream cakes. So now I can add cake piping decorative art to my artist cv. Anyway,I like this drawing by Rachel Goodyear so i'm putting it on here.

Photography

I don't tend to take that many photos with my camera,which annoys me because I used to be really into photography,especially darkroom work. It probably has something to do with the fact my camera is really bad. So I thought I'd show some of the best pictures from my really bad camera. The quality is awful,really rubbish quality but hopefully they have potential and if I had something better,and put my mind to it,I could get better stuff.I'll label them later...

This has made me want to select some photos that I think best describe my first year at uni. I'll do that when it's not two oclock in the morning.

Drawing

I haven't posted for a while. I guess it's just because I've been so busy at work. I've been having a bit of a dilemma recently,I don't know which course I want to be on! I'm thinking of switching to illustration so at the moment I'm playing around with a few of my drawings and I'm going to set myself a short project for fun. Here's a drawing I've messed around with. It's from my first tutorial in photoshop with Adrian.
It's not that good because there's a bit I had to go over with a paintbrush because it had been erased out but it's just so I can get a jist of photoshop and this is the first attempt. Can't wait to do more things.

A Gentleman's Guide to Gig Etiquette

This is a creation by myself and Mr Adrian Curcher. We made it together after getting really pissed off at a few different gigs filled with students. We got angry and thought we collaborate and make something we could rant in and I could illustrate. So here it is. There's a video on the internet somewhere floating around. This particular zine was very popular at the Zine Symposium. If anyone's interested in buying one,let me know.
